Teaching from Exodus

We have all been on road trips with children who feel the journey takes forever. You repeatedly hear, “Are we there yet?”. Imagine that long trip was in the desert. Think about how the Israelites felt as they wandered around the desert for years, waiting to enter the Promise Land.

No matter how tired we get waiting for God’s faithful promises, we can focus on what’s happening in our lives right now rather than where we are going. For the next five weeks, preschool and elementary children will hear stories and learn from Exodus. We will explore how we can choose to be thankful, love God and others, turn to God when we’re lost, go to God when we need rest, and remember God’s promises.

Join us each Sunday from 10:20-11:30 a.m. Pick up your child’s Elementary Bible Reading Bookmarker to follow along with the Bible teaching, by reading the Scripture at home. When your children read and return the first bookmarker on November 8^th, they will receive a gift card for a kid’s meal at their favorite restaurant. We provide bookmarkers throughout the year to earn  up to four gift cards.
