Greetings LRC,
The LRC staff read through the Governor’s order on November 10th.  It says “planned religious services” can continue to meet as scheduled, as they follow venue guidance. In light of this, all of our scheduled ministries remain open.

Living Rock Church will continue to meet Sundays at Central High School as long as we have permission from the school. We are so blessed to have the High School auditorium which seats 500 people. Even with this large meeting space, we will continue to worship in two services (with the exception of Sunday, November 15th, at 10:30 a.m. only).

As you can imagine, the High School follows strict cleaning protocols which work to our benefit.  We also clean some high traffic areas such as rails, handles, and tables each week. We switch seating between services so everyone has a clean chair to sit in for worship. God has provided all we need to get through this -- together.

Our guidelines for meetings remain:

  • Please remain home if your health is at risk, or you have been exposed, or are feeling ill.
  • Please pray for the health of our communities, schools, and churches.
  • Please wear masks as we meet together (age 5 and under masks optional).
  • Please choose your seating distanced from other families and enjoy worshiping together.
  • Please pray that our faith will strengthen and we will not neglect our spiritual needs, which are many, in these turbulent and unsettling times.

John 1:5, “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
