Welcome to our children's program where we strive to create a place where kids anticipate coming each week as we bring the Bible to life and build relationships that give each child a sense of belonging and connection. LRC Kids takes place at 10:30 a.m. Sunday mornings during the school year. Psalm 78:1-7 spurs us on to reach the next generation with Christ’s love through God’s story. Our Method is a large group/small group format. The first part of the hour takes place in Large Group where the Bible is brought to life through dramas, props, art, and audience participation. For the remainder of the hour, the Bible teaching is taken deeper in Small Group where preschool and elementary children experience community, fun, and connection at Living Rock Church. All children are welcome and may join any time throughout the school year.

We believe your child is a special gift from God. We invite you to drop off your little one in our care while you enjoy the service with family and friends or feel free to stay and play with your child as he or she transitions to a new place with new faces. We want you and your child to feel welcome, safe, and loved at Living Rock Church. The nursery is available every Sunday during both the service and Connections. Please register by clicking on the link above for LRC Kids.
Contact our Nursery Coordinator, Danyell with any questions.
We have a tradition at LRC to gift parents with the Big Picture Story Bible on the day they dedicate their baby. We believe baby dedications are not for the salvation of the baby, but a dedication made by the parents in the mission of leading their child to know and follow Jesus Christ. Baby dedications take place publicly in the worship service because they involve the whole church body to commit to disciple children in the Christian faith.
If you want to schedule a baby dedication, click the button below. We will contact you to discuss this important day with you.

Awana stands for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15). The key focus for this Bible club is Scripture memorization, comprehension, and application. The memory work, Bible studies and other fun activities give each clubber a Biblical worldview by building up their Bible knowledge and instilling in them a love and respect for God's Word. Awana meets Wednesdays during the school year from 6:10-7:30 p.m. at Central Elementary School in Norwood Young America.

All children's ministry volunteers have gone through a process of training and background checks to be qualified to serve your children. We keep group sizes small to provide an enviroment for building relationships among peers and their leaders.
