Pastor Ethan was raised in Mott, ND on a small farm. Ethan started following Jesus at a young age, which he credits to the intentional influence of his parents. After high school, he pursued education at Crown College (BA in Bible and Theology) and is currently working on a MA in Biblical Literature of the Old Testament from Alliance Theological Seminary.
At Crown, Ethan met Moriah Sawyer. Fun fact: they were married the week after he accepted a full-time position as Student Ministries Pastor at Living Rock Church in 2017. Their first child, Thomas, was born in 2021.
Ethan is a huge superhero nerd, never turns down a good cup of coffee, and actively roots for Tom Brady. More importantly, he is passionate about next gen ministry!
